Add Indiana Senator Evan Bayh to the list of democrats running for cover instead of for office. Actually, I could live with Evan as my senator; he was a much better senator than he ever was governor. As the demos drop like flies, the White House spin doctors are confusing even themselves. They seem ready to blame the mass defection on anything or anyone, never even looking at the truth right in front of them; Americans are rebelling in droves against Obama’s failed policies.
First we are told that the Tea Party movement is an “Astroturf” invention of Fox News or the Bushies or…well, anything but what it really is; millions of “Joe Plumbers” who are coming to the realization that Obama was totally misrepresented to the voters of America, and even the Kool-Aid crews of his own party are working to disassociate themselves from him.
Add to this the fact that every single one of his appointees who has been faced with the harsh realities of governing has dropped the ball miserably, and the “Massachusetts Massacre” slapping the pols into reality, and you have a recipe for disaster.
It’s a long time to the next election though; a few months is an eternity in politics, and the current group of liars in Washington haven’t even begun to work their magic; the Kool-Aiders will be back in lockstep soon enough, and a few speeches by the Smooth-Talker-In-Chief will have the lemmings looking for the nearest cliff.
But watch the Tea Parties grow in number and strength…it’s gonna be really interesting!
