The conventions are over, the horses are in the starting gates, and...well, the time has come for the endless TV ads and sound bites by the "mainstream press" (mostly pro-Obama, by a 10-1 margin on NBC).
First of all, what does Joe Biden say about Obama?
"I think he can be ready, but right now, I don't think he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on the job training." - Senator Joe Biden
Well said, Senator! So were you lying then or are you lying now?
For all of us who have lived through more campaigns than we care to recall, total reversals like this one are typical of the democrat party; they shoot at each in January and sleep together in November.
In the latest Jimmy Carter reincarnation, perhaps we are to believe that Obama has miraculously become "ready" to lead (the Messiah can swing that, ya' know,,,). Or possibly that Biden was hopelessly blinded by all the Clinton sound bites, but has now CAN SEE because of being able to touch the hem of the Messiah's empty suit...a miracle first experienced by Hillary herself. Oh, the WONDER of it all! We may have time to take a look at Biden's record in a later post, but for now, let's just assume that like many (most?) members of the senate, he is just acting in his own twisted self-interest Go figure...
But we vote for the presidential candidate, not the vice-president, right? ( NOT to be confused with the Presidential-Vice, made famous by Bill "bent cigar" Clinton). So what of Obama's record?

Well, more than 130 times he voted "present"; the vote set in place for all those who were born and raised with no cajones or just don't have the capacity to make an honest decision. When he did manage to get the courage to come out from under his desk and vote, he established himself as the most liberal of all United States senators...a title previously reserved for Teddy Kennedy (but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it...so to speak).
So the man complaining about VP choice Palin's inexperience would have us believe his 149 days as a senator makes him uniquely qualified to lead the free world. At least Palin has lead a city and a state; all Barry has run is his mouth. Yes, he is a wonderful speaker (until the teleprompter screws up) but so were Hitler and Marx
Cigar time. Later.
