No, it is not an assault weapon, nor does it hold 30 rounds, or even look particularly scary. But it is a handgun, something Obama says none of us need.
It is not for hunting or self-defense. It is for plinking and general target shooting. For those of you from Chicago, plinking is the fine art of putting holes in tin cans. Not really a very menacing thing to spend Saturday afternoon on, I would say. My girlfriend is bringing her cousin, a 13 year old young man who has never had the pleasure of wasting a tin can, so he will experience a new thing today and hopefully become as hooked as I did my first time.
No, I have no plans to hurt anybody (but best knock before you come in) nor do I leave my firearms out so some child can hurt himself or someone else, nor do I respect anyone who does.
I have given firearms safety classes to the Boy Scouts, and anyone else who asks.
I don't own guns because I am bitter.
I own guns because it is my constitutional right, though I consider it a privilege. I own guns because they are a constant reminder that with freedom comes responsibility and accountability; they are a lasting symbol of how we won that freedom.
And I WILL NOT vote for anyone who would deprive me of that freedom or any other...

You might as well keep plinking your cans on election day while we elect our man president. We have waited a long time but are finally going to get ours. John Mcclane looks like dead man walking. That church bus your dissing will lead the parade down Pennsylvania Ave. I'm a Obama Momma and proud of it.
Hi, Shanty! I thought maybe you had gotten a life or something. Welcome back.
You really MUST get someone to read the posts to you though. No one dissed your bus OR compared Obama to a monkey.
I am proud of my candidate too, but if he loses, we will pray for the success of the newly elected president. See, that's what a REAL church does Shanty...not steal votes and haul voters.
Who is this "Mcclane" guy you keep talking about?
